About Us
Alarand Ltd. a Canadian “Management Services” Corporation purchased Twilite Security Ltd. in 1999 to compliment their North Site Security divisions in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
- All officers are bonded in the amount of $100,000 and we provide
$5,000,000 insurance to protect against our legal liabilities.
- Each officer goes through rigorous training and as a part of recruitment we ensure that they have no criminal records.
- We take the team approach at all levels, report innovation, length
of service and profitability.
- We have identified key personnel and have “locked in” those skills
and expertise for the long haul, our corporate structure is designed
to retain continuity of management.
- All of our employees and managers are recruited and hired within the community in which they dwell, whenever possible.
"Twilite security is dedicated to the principle of client satisfaction."
Twilite security is dedicated to the principle of client satisfaction.
Depending on our client’s wishes, our management staff follow up with
a client on a monthly basis to discuss the performance of the security
staff. By doing this, both the Company and the client are able to
correct deficiencies before they become a major problem. Client contact
reports are used to record details of all our customer follow-ups. As
well, we have a security evaluation report that ask our customers
to fill out at least quarterly. This will ensure us to be very reactive
to any concerns and allow them to make recommendations that can be
discussed.
Supervisory personnel make regular visits to each site in order
to keep abreast of guard situations as well as written evaluations
of their performance. The first part of the form allows each guard
to make an evaluation of the company and how we are meeting the guards
needs. This is used to accent the positive as well as the negative
and is a valuable tool in helping the guard to improve his/her performance
and ultimately the value of service to you, the customer.
Should the need for correction arise, an employee warning record
provides a positive tool in encouraging the guard to rectify any shortcomings.
The warning is written in the guard’s presence and he/she receives
the original copy. Copies of all reports, warnings, evaluations, etc/
are provided to our Manager at the start of each business day. In
this way, he can liaise with the client as soon as possible. Any security
officer who, for any legitimate reason is deemed unsuitable, by our
client, will be removed immediately.
"We pride ourselves on the efficiency of our system of communication..."
Twilite Security and the “Alarand Group” of associated companies
provide the capability of handling any situation 24 hour per day,
7 days per week. This capability extends to the ability to communicate
and dispatch a client’s call to the appropriate manager or supervisor
within minutes; because the ability to communicate rapidly could spell
the difference between life and death. We pride ourselves on the efficiency
of our system of communication, which places the client in direct
contact with whom they need to speak in a matter of seconds.
